Michael Wanmer: My name is Michael Wanmer; I am an eighth grade social studies teacher at Palos Verdes Intermediate School at Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District in the greater Palos Verdes Peninsula, California. My classroom overlooks the Pacific Ocean and is full of dedicated students and aspiring professionals. I have been teaching for the past four years and plan to teach for the next thirty. In my spare time during the school year I coach basketball and volleyball and during the summer months I am a beach lifeguard. I am engaged and have recently adopted a lhasa apso my fiance found and convinced me needed a loving home.
